BMCNE Friday Night Cruise at The Gazebo

We will meet at The Gazebo, Institute Lane, Scituate, RI unless otherwise noted.
Monthly Meeting Time is 6:00 PM
Many club members arrive around 6pm to have dinner before the meeting. This month we may begin the meeting a little earlier than the normal 7:30pm start time!

BMCNE's monthly meeting is held the last Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm. Many members arrive early, about 6pm, to have dinner before the meeting.

This month we will be meeting at Brutopia Brewery & Kitchen, 1505 Atwood Ave, Cranston, RI. All members are welcome to come and share their thoughts and ideas at these meetings.

We moved this "alternate cruise night" from Friday, May 27 to July 7th, due to the poor weather that was forcast. We hope for clear skys and open roads and that we see you at this fun and tasty night!

BMCNE will visit the Roger Williams Park Carousel Village. A popular family destination in Roger Williams Park a short distance away from the Zoo. Food trucks serve Carousel village during Food Truck Friday.

We plan on meeting at the Slater Grove Park, parking lot located on Narragansett Parkway across the Landon Road. We will gather at 5:30 and then cruise to the Roger Williams Park, Carousel Village at 6pm.

Follow signs throughout Roger Williams Park for directions to the Carousel Village, which is located just by the park's boat house.

This year we have moved from Colt State Park to Goddard Memorial Park. We have a reserved cookout location and plenty of "on site" parking, so all LBCs are welcome.

Shady trees and cool ocean breezes help make this annual event a popular one. All BMCNE members and friends are invited. BMCNE provides the location, grills, hot dogs and hamburgers. July is a great driving month and the BMCNE cookout is a great place to meet.

Join BMCNE for a cruise to The Collings Foundation in Stowe, MA!

Rendezvous at “Diamond Hill Park” Cumberland RI 8:30-9:00AM. (opposite the Ice Cream Machine) Rt 114 Cumberland,RI. Drivers meeting at 9:00 & leaving promptly at 9:15 AM. We will then take a 1.5 hour Cruise to The Collings Foundation no rush, easy going. There will be reserved lawn parking for BMCNE and guest LBC’s from other clubs. Plenty of Picnic area on the lawn, bring your basket, blanket, BYOB and goodies. Victory lap for BMCNE members & LBC’s from other clubs. There will be a chase car. Entire Cruise on scenic back roads!

Event is Saturday July 29th, Rain Date - Sunday July 30th. There will be a $15. donation per car, at the gate, with all proceeds going toward future restorations.

BMCNE members and friends will meet at Colt State Park at 2:00 on August 19th (rain date August 26th) for a leisurely trip to watch the polo match in Portsmouth, RI at 5:00.

Bring a picnic or purchase one along the way - we will stop by Sweet Berry Farm on our drive, and we will aim to be at the Newport International Polo Grounds at 250 Linden Lane in Portsmouth around 4:00 p.m.

Details about the match and the grounds follow. Feel free to come along just for the ride if you'd like, or meet us there. Newport v. Philadelphia, 5:00 p.m. on August 12. General Admission - $12/adult (kids free up to the age of 15) General Admission to Lawn, Grandstand and Reserved Tailgate Parking areas. Picnics of food & beverage are welcome. Bring lawn chairs & blankets for Lawn area. Lawn and Grandstand are available on a first-come-first-serve basis on game day, and cannot be reserved in advance without authorization from Polo Office. Gates open at 1:00 p.m. General Admission tickets are sold online or at the entry gates on game day. General Parking is free..

The show will be moved across the street to McCarthy Park with beautifully manicured lawns and a fantastic location for our 15th year celebration.

Featured vehicles will be all makes made in 1957 and 1967. Four on the Floor will be performing, and Dee Jay Doc will be the MC. Over 145 Trophies will be awarded. A food court, big truck display, fully restored old Macks, 1930s Bulldozers and more.

The New England
British Reliability Run

For the 2017 New England British Reliability Run they will be chasing the Appalachian Trail as it crosses the White Mountains of New Hampshire and continues into Maine. The route will pass through the famous major notches in the White Mountains, along with crossing over some of the lesser known, but equally as stunning smaller notches through the northern New Hampshire and Western Maine mountains. The route we will cross over the Appalachian Trail numerous times as it winds north from Georgia for 2190 miles to the end in northern Maine. The fall foliage comes early in the high mountains and the scenery should be absolutely breathtaking. The route will be about 600 miles of back roads through the marvelous colors that can only be seen in New England…saddle-up, let’s get driving!
